Butter Cake

Crust

1 butter yellow cake mix

1 egg, room temperature

8 tablespoons, 1 stick, melted butter

Topping

1 8 oz package cream cheese, room temperature

2 eggs, room temperature

4 cups powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

Mix crust ingredients, cake mix, egg and melted butter in mixing bowl until combined.  Press into 9×13 baking pan that has been sprayed with pan spray.

To make topping, beat cream cheese.  Add eggs, butter and vanilla scraping down sides of mixing bowl and beating until combined.

Pour topping mixture over crust, smoothing topping until even.  Bake in 350 degree oven 45 minutes.
