1 can, 14 oz, whole berry cranberry sauce
1 heaping tablespoon light brown sugar
juice of two fresh squeezed lemons
1 bag, 64 oz, homestyle precooked .5 oz meatballs, thawed
Yes, you can use homemade cranberry sauce and homemade little meatballs!
Mix all ingredients, except meatballs, together in large bowl. Add meatballs and toss until lightly coated.
Place meatballs in large oven proof pan or crock pot. Heat in oven at 250 degrees for at least an hour to get the sauce flavor through the meatballs. If serving meatballs in crock pot, low heat, 30 minutes before serving. Serve with toothpicks.
